Job Description

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend new applications / increase in limits / annual reviews / facility conversions and other common requests for approval submitted through various channels i.e. Branches, dedicated and direct sales channels for Retail Banking Products.
  • Working with product / marketing / sales / IT / Lending Operations on new programs / products / systems to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Ensure that the department's Service Quality and Key Control Standards are complied with.
  • Ad hoc reporting and other duties assigned by Manager, Credit Initiation from time to time.
  • Actively engage in regular discussions to drive operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in system testing where required.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Any Diploma or Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
  • 1+ years of experience in Retail Banking and / or Finance Service preferred
  • Evaluate and recommend new applications / increase in limits / annual reviews / facility conversions and other common requests for approval submitted through various channels i.e. Branches, dedicated and direct sales channels for Retail Banking Products
  • Working with product / marketing / sales / IT / Lending Operations on new programs / products / systems to ensure smooth implementation
  • Ensure that the department's Service Quality and Key Control Standards are complied with
  • Ad hoc reporting and other duties assigned by Manager, Credit Initiation from time to time
  • Experience in underwriting/credit analysis preferred.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills and experience.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Understanding of Retail Banking and products.
  • Understanding of underwriting processes preferred.
  • Self motivated, positive, organized, disciplined and meticulous.
  • Fast learner and efficient.
  • Ability to handle stress.
