Purpose of the role

The ESG Finance department within the Asian Investment Banking Division focuses on partnering with our clients to drive the ESG agenda across APAC (ex Japan).

Primary Responsibilities

The team is now looking for a high caliber candidate to join our team and focus on the Origination and Deal support.

Client Engagement

• Supporting senior ESG Originators and RMs on client pitches
• Evaluate customer readiness for ESG, and analyze from a sector perspective
• Create pitchbooks based on latest developments in the ESG/ Sustainable Finance space
• Ensure up-to-date and clear tracking of clients, pipelines and deals for the countries under your coverage

Strategic Initiatives

• Work closely with global partners to drive strategic initiatives in the ESG space
• The ability for \xe2\x80\x9cthought leadership\xe2\x80\x9d on a wide range of technical and business issues impacting our core markets.
• Be a centre of excellence by understanding financing structures and industry trends.

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified
• Minimum internship experience in Sustainability Finance
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word
• Interest/passion for Sustainability/ESG
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Data Analytics (generate story from numbers)
• Keen to read research papers to keep up with innovations
• Energetic, team player, results oriented
• Sustainability related certification is a plus
