Management of agreement terms to maximize yield opportunities, improve compliance and visibility to stakeholders2. Conduct periodic review for Global Customer Agreements (GCA) related to agreement expirations, MAC changes3. Support Pricing Reports and scorecards, maintenance of activated deals in systems4. Make recommendations for improving Global Customer Agreement processes5. Support to the pricing community and global organizationHow will you contribute to the success of DHL?
1. Maintenance of agreement terms\xc2\xb7 This includes but not limited to, fuel surcharge, services and surcharges and General Price Increase (GPI), in order to maximize yield opportunities, improve compliance and provide visibility of global agreement information to stakeholders\xc2\xb7 Maintain regular updates in Contract Organization Environment (CORE) to ensure Global Customer agreement information is comprehensive and available in a timely fashion\xc2\xb7 Proactive follow-up with Tender Managers, Customer Managers and relevant stakeholders to clarify pricing terms\xc2\xb7 Prepare consolidated Global GPI lists with timely GPI reminders, tracking of GPI acknowledgement and GPI letter delivery\xc2\xb7 Support stakeholders to improve understanding of data and/or required actions\xc2\xb7 GPI updates in GRE Systems for Global Customers in GRE Global Layer\xc2\xb7 Support Global Offers (MANGO) maintenance to ensure up-to-date information for business reporting and offers\xc2\xb7 Review and analyze key contractual terms compliance against contract\xc2\xb7 Highlight for follow-up action on data quality issues with Pricing terms information in CORE, MANGO and other TRB documentation\xc2\xb7 Support escalations and act as global point of contact for Global Customer Agreement/Pricing issues raised with troubleshooting as needed to resolve\xc2\xb7 Identify issues and recommend improvements to GCA process2. Periodic Review for GCA related to agreement expirations, MAC changes and Maintenance of activated deals in systems\xc2\xb7 Proactive follow-up with Tender Managers, Customer Managers and relevant stakeholders to review contract expirations for Global Customers\xc2\xb7 Review MAC changes with follow-up to clarify requirements where necessary.\xc2\xb7 Support maintenance of changes e.g. Global-To-Local in CORE, MANGO, GRE systems\xc2\xb7 Make recommendations to maximize revenue/price opportunities by driving pricing activities through such changes\xc2\xb7 Support GRE Global Layer PID maintenance activities with communication to stakeholders\xc2\xb7 Identify and escalate as required for customers where further action may be required\xc2\xb7 Ensure consistency of contractual terms across CORE, MANGO systems and databases3. Provide support to Pricing Reports and Scorecards

  • Adhoc Global Customers Pricing reviews to facilitate business decision-making
  • Prepare pricing analysis reports and Scorecards where required
\xc2\xb7 Assist in data preparation for other pricing-related reports such as Loss Makers and Net price change where required4. Make recommendations for improving GCA processes\xc2\xb7 Suggest improvements to increase effectiveness of GCA process and assist in process documentation; communication and training; and related materials\xc2\xb7 Support development of tools, procedures and databases to systemize the tasks of GPI implementation, profitability and yield improvement, and Global Customer contract compliance\xc2\xb7 Support development of systems and tools through the participation of BRS, SRS, CR and UAT sessions as required5. Provide support to the pricing community and global organization
  • Act as a global/regional contact for GCAs
  • Support GCA activities as back-up where required
  • Participate in adhoc projects and initiatives
Do you have what it takes?\xc2\xb7 University degree with strong analytical background, preferably Business Administration, Finance, Economics).\xc2\xb7 Preferable 2 years of DHL Express experience in commercial, finance, or pricing divisions, and/or prior pricing or analytical experience recommended.\xc2\xb7 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an analytical, financial, or commercial function (ideally, in a Costing or Pricing function in a country, cluster, or region is preferred).\xc2\xb7 Outstanding analytical skills with a strong business perspective.\xc2\xb7 Communicating clearly with the ability to advise and influence people without having direct reporting lines.\xc2\xb7 Company industry knowledge, General knowledge of DHL processes, products, and systems landscape.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and results-oriented; ability to manage deadlines and under pressure, as well as make decisions on pricing proposals.This is a position to be based in Singapore.DHL is an equal opportunity employer.
