Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day loan operations activities (bilateral/ syndication), ensuring timely, accurate and reliable processing of loan disbursements, rate-fixing, rollovers and collection of principal repayment, interest and fees in accordance with the Procedures, agreed Service Level Agreement with internal or external clients.
• Process and effect accounting entries for Payments/ SWIFT/GL transactions
• Reconciliation and investigations of loan transaction/ nostro accounts
• Daily Operations in accordance with MAS regulations, Bank Policies and Unit Procedure

Customer

• Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Product Offices to execute requests specifically for loan. Work in partnership with Branch Credit on credit limit or transaction issues.
• Work in partnership with colleagues in Head Office on operating procedures or system enhancement.
• Support and coordinate with team to respond in a timely matter to auditors and regulators.

People

• Strong cooperation with team members on daily operations and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

Others/ Controls

• Provide input into operation processes and workflows to deliver best practice, efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Input/ approve daily loan transactions in accordance to bank\'s policies and guidelines.
• Prepare and generate periodic report including but not limited to financial, exceptional handling, and loan overdue report.
• Participate in relevant project undertake by the department.
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in the relevant field
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience in Coporate Loan Operations/Credit Administration
• Fresh banking & finance graduates with a keen interest in developing a career in banking operations are welcome to apply
• Experience in operation to support transaction, loan processing
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• A self-starter and problem solver with initiative and a strong drive to achieve quality work
• Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
