Create/monitor trade instructions in NCS that are released to sub custodians
Trouble-shoot and resolve settlement issues and provide proper closure
Execution of foreign exchange to support trade settlements
Nostro reporting to T&M Operations
Ensure accounting entries are in order
Perform stock and nostro reconciliation of settlement accounts
Generate and use MIS Data to understand volume trends, settlement/prematching rates, etc
Provide public holiday duty coverage
Active involvement in adhoc projects, new initiatives and Live Verification tests (sometimes during weekends)
Maintain updated standard operating procedures and adherence to risk and changes in global operating environment
Build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders such as the Client Service Managers, sub-custodians, Risk and all internal/external teams
Stay abreast in the securities market (by reading circulars from subs, custodian magazines & journal
Ensure all internal and external service standards are met while complying with policies, requirements and best practices
Strive for continuous improvement/optimization of existing processes
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in banking operations, or related field
Knowledge and experience in securities Custody operations, especially in Settlements, will be an advantage
Familiar with Digital Assets and distributed ledger technology will be an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage and lead discussion with stakeholders at all levels
Analytical, detailed oriented with a growth mindset
Self-driven and task-oriented
Ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Team player as well as ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Required to work on Singapore public holidays
