Founded in 2011, Empact is a leading social enterprise with a mission to build the capacity of social organisations (referred to as non-profit organisations and social enterprises) in Singapore and the region. Our aim for our capacity building efforts is to empower these social organisations to be empowered for greater impact. Through our cross-sector collaboration with sector developers, grantmakers, corporates and volunteers, we bridge the capacity gap of the social sector by channelling talents, skills and resources to co-create innovative solutions to address the various needs of social organisations. To date, Empact has impacted and empowered more than 2,000 social organisations in the region, with a contribution of savings amounting up to $9 million worth of professional services that have been rendered pro bono for the social sector. In 2022, Empact won the President\xe2\x80\x99s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards City of Good (for Pro Bono School with our partners, Procter & Gamble and Credit Suisse) and received the award for being a Champion of Good.
DESIGNATION : Analyst, Programme Management

RESPONSIBILITIES
An Overview We are looking for a Programme Analyst to support the design, coordination and delivery of large-scale programmes in the area of Youth Development, Digital Skills and / or Capability Building for Social Sector Organisations. For this individual, this entry-level role will be a great learning and development opportunity to experience how programmes are run in the social sector and gain exposure to a breadth of stakeholders - nonprofit and social enterprise leaders, government agencies and youth leaders in a variety of cause areas. Roles and Responsibilities Qualities that might help you thrive in this role:

  • Purpose: Passionate about supporting the non-profit sector and social enterprises
  • Project / Events Experience: You naturally enjoy organizing events - thinking through all the possible steps, breaking it down into actionable steps and seeing them come to life. You\xe2\x80\x99re meticulous about admin; you know that small details can have a big impact
  • Resourceful: You\xe2\x80\x99re comfortable working independently and intuitively think of possible solutions when problems arise
  • Stakeholder-oriented: You know that great things can only be achieved through partnership with others; you think through the interests of clients, partners and internal cross-functional team members when working with them
  • IT-proficient: You\xe2\x80\x99re comfortable with Google Suite and basic data analysis on Excel. Bonus - experience with CRM, email or community management software
Your job role will cover:
  • Programme Coordination: You\xe2\x80\x99ll support the Programme Manager and team along the project lifecycle to ensure smooth project delivery, which may include a variety of the job scopes below
  • Events Management: Support the end-to-end delivery of online (Zoom) and physical events - event setup, sending invites, tracking sign-ups, venue logistics, liaising with vendors, on-the-go problem solving etc.
  • Data Analysis: Support the team with collection, maintenance and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data e.g., post-event feedback scores
  • Stakeholder Management: Support the team with by coordinating with a variety of stakeholders such as clients, partners and internal cross-functional team members
  • Communications: Support the team with mass email communications and / or online community management


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma in any of the Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, etc.), Social Sector or Business-related fields
  • In-lieu of a Degree / Diploma, candidates with equivalent or significant work experience may be considered
  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience i.e, project management, training & development, facilitation, data analysis, marketing & communications, consulting
  • Demonstrated interest and / or experience in the social service sector (landscape, key agencies and resources)
  • Possess strong analytical thinking skills, strong proficiency in English, good with numbers, good interpersonal skills and communication skills, take initiative, customer service oriented
