The Job

Bridging the gap between business needs and software technological solutions for our intralogistics business. Primary responsibility is analysing, designing, and implementing systems that enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and achieve business objectives. The job scope includes:

A. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Eliciting, documenting, and analysing detailed requirements for software applications or IT systems.
• Identifying gaps and inconsistencies in requirements and proposing solutions.

B. System Design:

• Creating functional and technical specifications based on gathered requirements.
• Designing the architecture and structure of the system, including databases, user interfaces, and integration points.
• Ensuring that the proposed design aligns with industry best practices and standards.

C. Solution Development:

• Collaborating with software developers, programmers, and other IT professionals to implement the designed systems.
• Providing guidance and clarifications during the development process.
• Overseeing the creation of prototypes or mock-ups to validate designs before full development.

D. Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintaining open and transparent communication with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers.
• Providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

Ideal Candidate

• A bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
• Proficiency in programming languages and technologies. (E.g. Java, C#, MS SQL Server, etc.).
• Knowledge of system architecture, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with database management systems.
• Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and integration techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve system design and functionality issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, developers, and project managers.
• Understanding of logistics business processes, operations, and industry trends.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and objectives.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies as they evolve.
