About KKR Credit KKR Credit uses a fundamental, bottoms-up approach to manage $185+ billion of credit investments. The team is comprised of approximately 160 investment professionals focused on opportunities across a variety of industries and strategies. We take a thematic approach toward identifying opportunities and sourcing proactively. We focus on downside risk and creating low cost options, and seek investments in which we have a competitive advantage in sourcing, diligence or analysis. Our process leverages the full KKR network, including investment teams, capital markets, operational experts, portfolio company management and our senior advisor network. About the Role: The individual will be involved with all aspects of the Credit investment process, including but not limited to:

  • Performing credit investment analysis of a broad range of companies and industries;
  • Financial statement analysis and financial modeling of portfolio companies and potential investment opportunities;
  • Assistance in development of actionable private credit transactions up and down the capital structure;
  • Preparation of investment committee materials, conducting due diligence on assets, presenting ideas to investment committee;
  • Analysis of deal terms and covenant structures;
  • Sourcing and evaluating potential investments;
  • Performing due diligence and execution of transactions;
  • Overseeing reporting and monitoring of investments in conjunction with the Portfolio Management Unit;
  • and interacting with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s investors, clients and limited partners. The incumbent will interact closely with other businesses such as the Client and Partner Group, Private Equity etc.
About the Requirements:
  • Possess an outstanding academic record;
  • 2 - 4 years of professional experience, preferably in a leading investment bank, private equity firm, or consulting practice.
  • Possess superior analytical and financial modeling skills; a solid grasp of financial concepts; exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills; attention to detail; and a maturity that enables the candidate to contribute to a collaborative and constructive work environment.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for investing;
  • A strong understanding of fundamental business analysis;
  • Self-starter and motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and within teams
  • Embody the firm\xe2\x80\x99s core values, in particular: unquestioned integrity, strong work ethics and a commitment to teamwork and excellence
