Summary

In this role, you will be reporting to Detention & Demurrage Manager. As an Analyst/Specialist, D&D and Idle Full Controller, you will be working closely with various stakeholders and agencies to resolve issues pertaining to detention & demurrage and idle containers.

To excel in this role, you should possess good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas.

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Idle Full Management

Manage and analyse the laden containers in the countries as assigned;

Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including Head Office and local agencies;

Conduct country analysis to understand/identify idle trends;

Source for salvage/disposal opportunities when needed;

Manage idle full cases in APAC region and review the opportunities/proposal presented by local agency to reduce idle containers;

Prepare idle case reports for management review and develop preventive measures to reduce the idle cases;

Keep abreast with reliable Area Intelligence (impact of policy changes / local incident) to monitor situation in different country, including proposal for action plan

Ensure idle full process is followed by agency, in compliance with CMA CGM Group policies and regulations;

D&D Management

Manage and analyse the D&D performance in the countries as assigned;

Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including Head Office \xe2\x80\x93 France and local agencies;

Conduct country analysis to understand/identify D&D performance trends/issues;

Follow up and drive D&D performance;

Follow up the D&D standards executed by the respective Agencies. If deviations from Group policy/ Asia Regional Office recommended process are detected, follow up with agencies to push for improvements/ alignments where possible.

We are looking for someone who are meticulous, details-oriented and good problem solving mind.

Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in maritime, logistics, supply chain related studies or business management or administration

At least 2 years of working experience in the container shipping / freight-forwarding industry would be advantageous

Proficient in MS Office i.e. Excel (vlookup; pivot table), Word, Powerpoint would be advantageous
