Min 3 years of relevant sales operations experience or trading accounting/ finance experience. Has 1 of the following relevant exp- finance exec or sales ops or trading back office exp gained within the commodity trading sector Understanding of the commodities markets and Accountancy Principles is preferredOur client is a renowned/international commodity MNC.This role is a transitional 1 year contract role to support the MNC's global Thermal Coal/Met Coal Sales Operations and Laytime team by providing critical finance, Treasury and Risk support. The role will have responsibility to produce laytime calculations, negotiate with counterparties to through to financial settlement as and when needed. For this 1 year contract, the co also offers good benefits e.g. 25 days leave, and var bonus OTE 10%).Finance / WCAP control / Management Reporting Month End responsibility to raise invoices in a timely manner to close out Internal, Intercompany and to assist in the Offtake agreement settlement process. Process payments to suppliers of support services such as courier, brokers, agencies. Manage all payment/receipt queries for customers with GSS/Singapore Finance Debtor Control - Daily check of debtor position, record cash receipts and payments dates. Liaise with Tax team as need to procure current tax residency forms or other documentation as needed by customers to support payment. Produce a monthly forecast for Treasury to maintain credit lines for Import LC's and Bonds. Ad Hoc Reporting as needed.Laytime Supporting our fully flexible sales operations team ambition, in the careful calculation, negotiation and settlement of laytime. Ensure accurate data entry to issue invoice/credit notes in Aspect, uploading relevant supporting documents.Sales Operations Daily monitoring the data in ASPECT in relation to Operations (vessel's ETA, LC status, Clear to load, etc.) and distribute daily summary report to the Sales Operations team - Energy Solutions Provide coverage the Sales Operations team as and when required, i.e. laycan and vessel nominations Compliance, Risk and Masterdata Continual vigilance for Compliance issues, raise team awareness and assist to develop controls. Assist in onboarding existing counterparties new bank details in line with the compliance processes. Provide updates to operational risk on Thermal Coal debtor position on a weekly basis.QualificationsWhat we're looking for Min 3 years of relevant sales operations experience or trading accounting/ finance experience.
