Analytical ChemistDescription -What an Analytical Chemist does at HP:Assigned tools owner to manage and develop analytical methodology for ink and raw material analysis for a sample to assists manufacturing partners with issue diagnosis and problem-solving.Upkeep and proposal further tools usage and expansion to support ink manufacturing.Work closely with operation team to execute analysis and produce analytical report with recommendation align to business quality standard.Partner with other chemical labs to stay relevant on ink development and analytical methods.Partner with ink manufacturing chemist and R&D chemist to Design Analytical Chemistry solutions for Ink processes development, technologies, and dispersion formulations.Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced research and development partners regarding analytical status, project progress, and issue resolution.Represent the analytical team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Bachelor\'s, Master\'s or PHD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent Typically 4-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experienceExperience with and understanding of chemistry concepts, practices, and laboratory procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Must have experience in any tools related to Chromatography (LC-MS/GC-MS/GPC/CE), Spectroscopy (FTIR/TGA), Elemental Analysis (ICP-OES) and Thermal material (TGA/DSC) measurement including precision hands on in sample preparation.
