Reinsurance Track

In this graduate program, you will be exposed to all aspects of our business through job rotations (3 to 4-months) across different business units within our Facultative remit. Our graduates experience the full lifecycle of our business \xe2\x80\x93 from working alongside our local network offices in the APAC region, to cutting a deal in the global reinsurance market place, utilising our London / Bermuda and US centre of excellence wherever necessary. As the regional hub for Aon Re Asia, you will be exposed to and have access to vast resources in terms of risk transfer, data analytics, catastrophe modelling and client management that will ultimately help our clients make better decisions. This is especially critical in the current economic environment where high volatility is the norm and the ability to navigate and manage these risks\xe2\x80\x99 volatility efficiently is key to success.

Our Reinsurance track provides risk transfer, claims advocacy and capital management solutions to help re/insurers reduce volatility and build resilient businesses, governments and communities.

In your Facultative Broking rotation, you will be guided by our seasoned Fac mentors to learn the \xe2\x80\x98Ins and Outs\xe2\x80\x99 of deal making. They will be involved in \xe2\x80\x98broking\xe2\x80\x99 risks that relates to Property ( Hi Tech firms/ Steel plants/ Real Estates/ Manufacturing facilities ), Construction, Power and Infrastructures ( Power Plants, Solar and wind farms, Hydros), Energy (Oil refineries), Financial Lines (financial institutions), Casualty (3rd party risks) and Marine (Ship owners, Ports and terminals, ).

In your Treaty Reinsurance rotation, you will be placed in various business departments and work with experienced professionals from different disciplines. Prior to placement with the business teams, you will be provided with a foundation training on reinsurance treaties and how they operate. The departments you will be placed in will include:

• Client Management & Broking (Property, Casualty, Marine, Agriculture, Life & Health)
• Capital Advisory where we address our clients\' underwriting and capital objectives on a risk and portfolio level, enabling our clients to more effectively manage the combination of premium growth, return on capital and rating agency interests
• Technical Account Management (Contracts & Data Management)
• Analytics (Actuarial and Catastrophe Management)
• Client Services (Premium & Claims management)

Whilst working in these teams, you will learn how Aon adds value to our treaty reinsurance clients by analysing their insurance risk portfolios and providing them with advice on what treaty structures will be optimum for their business. You will also gain knowledge from our experts who are aligned with industry and product practice groups and our client-focused specialists who use industry experience, advanced analytics, capital market products and strong market relationships to support the creation of new capacity to address the changing needs of our clients. You will also get an exposure to how negotiations are conducted with reinsurers and how deals are broked. You will get great insights into the international nature of the reinsurance business and the unique learning and career opportunities that the reinsurance industry has to offer.

Your Development

As an Aon Graduate, you will be enrolled onto our Launch Programme when you join. This development programme is built around 3 core elements : * Business learning \xe2\x80\x93 on the job learning and experiences giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the team and Graduate Track you have joined

• Centralised learning \xe2\x80\x93 SG graduates complete an Aon Induction, webinars, business skills training and workshops; all designed to help you develop your knowledge of Aon, build your confidence and your network across our business
• Professional Qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 we want you to be as successful as possible, so we\xe2\x80\x99ll fully support your study towards the attainment of industry qualifications/certificates. You will identify the qualification/certificate you wish to pursue together with your career mentor, and we will support you with course fees, course materials and paid study leave.
