Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Accounting System Functions

• Actively engage in posting vendors\' invoices into the system
• Handle CTM/payment postings and offer assistance as required
• Conduct reconciliation of vendor statements of accounts (SOA)
• Assist Accounts Payable (AP) in identifying and organizing missing invoices, comparing them with SOA, and escalating to the Operations team
• Develop and execute payment plans, including daily payment runs
• Post payments into the system
• Accounts Receivable Tasks

• Post cash receipts and aid Credit Controllers in gathering information from operational systems
• Review and extract data from operational systems for input into various billing systems
• Support in managing overdue billings
• Perform data entry for revenue entries
• Address inquiries related to finance tasks
• Extraction of Invoices from Government Websites

• Navigate government websites such as Jurong Port, MPA, PSA, and others
• Extract invoices and forward them to Operations and Liner teams for processing
• Ad-hoc Assistance

• Undertake miscellaneous projects and assignments as delegated
• Provide support during system transitions and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Shipping or Logistic industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiar with local tax and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of SAGE accounting will be an added advantages
