The Collaboration & Productivity (C&P) team works hard to provide our internal employees with information, tools, and support throughout their careers at Apple. We focus on building productivity and collaboration tools, and provide information, training, and support needed to use those tools effectively. Using data to drive end user efficiency, our eclectic team manages clients, provides internal services, creates applications, and acts as the voice of IS&T to the company. Everyone and Apple depends on our team’s communication skills, obsession over the customer experience, and attention to detail. We are seeking an experienced Systems Support Engineer to be part of our Collaboration and Productivity team based in Singapore to contribute to our projects and support collaboration services and solutions. This is a systems engineering support role with a blend of customer service and product ownership deliver exceptional user experience. You will manage, maintain and improve our application solutions, keeping customer experience, performance and security prioritised. 1. Offer regional product ownership for Manage Print, End Point, LDAP, Content Caching and SLS services, partnership with global product owners. 2. Support our global print infrastructure environment (cloud, on-premise and clients), and Endpoint Data Protection service 3. Support a global client backup service and managing a 3rd party cloud solution. 4. Design, develop, review and collaborate in writing code and software solutions for APAC and/or global C&P projects 5. Deliver on C&P development and integration projects. Leverage internal and third party platforms to improve users’ productivity. 6. Support the C&P Services/Projects impacting users during APAC hours. 7. Assist with new global projects


Key Qualifications


  • 7 years in a technical operations or person responsible for a service
  • Strong experience with global technology implementations (Cloud and on-premise)
  • Demonstrated experience with technical administration and troubleshooting across different services and platforms (Unix, Linux, Windows, macOS)
  • Advance knowledge of LDAP directories.
  • Ability to script in various scripting languages (CSS, JavaScript, Angular, JS, React, Python, Java PHP, MySQL Mongo DB)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mandarin preferable
  • Demonstrated ability operating as part of a high performance team, delivering objectives under tough deadlines and comfortable in an ever-changing, global environment


Description


Provide technical support for services and applications such as: SecurePrint services, Corporate Backup Endpoint Data Protection, Content Caching, SLS services and directory services. Plan, manage and support new office deployments and technology refresh projects Support, implement and maintain LDAP directory services authentication across multiple platforms. Administer, improve and maintain our client application solutions, keeping customer experience, performance and security prioritised. Evaluate and assess new C&P services and technologies for continuous improvement, including automation opportunities, technical assessments, proactive testing and engagement with third party vendors. Support readiness activities for production rollouts of major macOS and iOS updates and C&P services deployments.
