THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned European MNC in the Logistics Space (P&L size of $1 billion) with strong presence in APAC and headquartered in Singapore. They are now looking for a strong APAC CFO to join their regional team in Singapore, reporting to the CEO, APAC.
THE ROLE
This will be a regional role, managing 2 people and be a business partner to various department/country heads. The ASEAN CFO will be responsible for:
- Overall control of company's financial strategy; budgeting, planning and analysis in the region
- Looking at the company's top and bottom line, and implementing strategies to reduce cost through improving efficiency
- Looking at full spectrum Accounting & Finance function
- Overseeing the treasury function (cashflow forecasting, liaising with bankers, etc)
- Overseeing the tax function (liaising with Tax Agents), making sure submissions are done in a timely manner
- Leading the system implementation of SAP for the SEA region
- Internal stakeholder management to complete biannual and annual financial and management reports and budgeting activities, and liaising with external stakeholder such as the external auditors on annual audits
The ideal candidate will have 12 to 14 years' experience with the title of a Finance Controller, Finance Director OR CFO. Experience in reviewing month-end/year end close process will be highly necessary. Good experience in a B to B business model. Proven track record of partnering with Senior Stakeholders across the business to help them implement best practices of the industry. Prior experience of leading a Finance team. The candidate must have minimum a bachelor's degree in accounting/ ACCA. Ability to work independently under pressure and excellent communication skill are required.
