Purpose of the job

As Collinson\'s Marketing Communications Manager APAC, you will be an integral member of a high-performing and creative marketing team. You will play a key role in ensuring that the Collinson brand is a brand of choice for our clients, prospects and partners.

This role will support the delivery of an integrated marketing and communications programme in APAC that speaks to a B2B(2C) audience primarily within the financial services and travel sectors. You\'ll work with our regional and global marketing teams, regional functional teams as well as our PR agencies and third-party associations to support the delivery of a calendar of multi-channel marketing and communication activities that will help to:

  • Grow and protect existing accounts and acquire new business
  • Increase brand awareness for Collinson in Asia Pacific
  • Elevate our brand within the region
  • Build a distinctive brand that enables us to differentiate and have a competitive advantage
Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of an omni-channel content marketing programme for Asia Pacific
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and amplify quality content such as thought leadership articles, infographics and research reports
  • Execute timely and effective marketing communication activities
  • Identify potential partnerships with key industry bodies such as CAPA, The Moodie Davitt Report, and other associations
Support the regional PR strategy and delivery, ensuring significant media opportunities are secured for the brand
  • Day to day liaison with PR, media and association partners / agencies
  • Draft and edit press releases and leverage newswire service in markets where we have no agency support
  • Maintain an up-to-date press library, for example, factsheet, biographies, headshots etc
  • Support executive-level communications including profiling, media pitches, briefing books as well as media meet and greets
Assist in managing Collinson-hosted events in the region
  • Research key industry events and explore sponsorship and/or partnership opportunities in APAC
  • Develop a strong working relationship with event organisers and suppliers
  • Coordinate and manage event set-up, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event
Help manage and report on the effectiveness of Marketing activations across all campaigns and communications, to prove ROI to the business

Develop strong and collaborative relationships with global and regional Marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment and to champion the needs and nuances of the APAC region

Knowledge, skills and experience required
  • 6-8 years\' experience (for Manager) in a marketing communications role, or similar
  • Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in Mandarin or another Asian language is preferred
  • Has experience in supporting the execution of successful omni-channel content marketing campaigns
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates the ability to adapt to a changing business environment and shifting priorities
  • Able to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working in global, regional or multi-national organisations is preferable
  • Enjoys collaborating with multiple teams across the business and building strong stakeholder relations at all levels of the organisation
