One of the specialized business verticals is seeking dynamic and experienced sales professional within the specialty fertilizer segment to contribute to the advancement of sustainable agriculture throughout Asia Pacific region.
As the APAC Sales Manager, you play a pivotal in development and execution of innovative sales and marketing strategies for the designated product range and regions. You will be challenged to the following:
Crafting short-term and mid-term sales and marketing strategies in alignment with overarching global business unit objectives.
Collaborating closely with the team leader to meticulously plan and effectively execute strategies, thereby contributing holistically to the success of the Global BU.
Identifying promising avenues such as new customers, novel applications, and emerging segments, and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to expedite robust footprint expansion for the company\'s specialty fertilizers business.
Realising sales targets by adeptly negotiating spot and term contracts, ensuring full alignment with business strategy, corporate policies, and regional regulations.
Cultivating enduring and influential relationships with clients at diverse levels, with a pronounced focus on operational excellence, thereby driving enhanced customer engagement and proficiently addressing concerns.
Nurturing and fostering strategic alliances with key accounts while astutely identifying and harnessing growth prospects.
Undertaking comprehensive competitive analyses, customer segmentation evaluations, strategic pricing deliberations, and supply chain assessments to bolster the pursuit of well-defined business objectives.
Orchestrating and orchestrating impactful technical seminars, conferences, and bespoke customer events to bolster the company\'s brand and amplify industry resonance.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor\'s degree related to a field in agriculture such as Environmental Science, Horticulture, Animal Science, Food Science & Industry etc. A Masters\' degree will have an additional advantage.
Showcases a robust track record in sales and marketing within the specialty fertilisers or wider agribusiness domain.
Possesses a solid comprehension of product/market dynamics and a grasp of the competitive landscape.
Exhibits proficiency in negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates adeptness in collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to consistently meet and surpass sales targets, thereby being able to support business expansion.
Demonstrates strategic acumen and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Familiar with MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.
Flexible to travel about 15%
