About the role Be part of the APAC Regional FP&A Team to be APAC Senior FP&A Manager for the Region. This role provides APAC Country and Regional teams relevant support required to help manage the Regional FP&A process for Monthly and Quarterly Actuals, Forecasts, Annual Budget and Three Year Plans and providing accurate financial information & analysis on timely basis.

What you need to know:

  • Driving Monthly / Quarterly reporting process
  • Preparing calendar of country/region deliverables for actuals/quarter close process
  • Managing country submissions/deliverables and country queries
  • Engage and support country FP&A teams on all FP&A operation matters
  • Supporting MBR/QBR preparation, including supporting working files and analysis
  • Preparing the quarter close Actuarial Hub run control checks and drive necessary engagement with Actuarial controllership team
  • Submits timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the financial performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results
  • Driving Forecast/Budget process
  • Preparing calendar for monthly forecast and annual budget process
  • Support local FP&A leads and finance business partners on various requirements
  • Collects data templates from counterparts, performs control checks on data received & analyzes monthly & quarterly data
  • Support 3Y strategic financial plan model consolidation and reporting for budget estimates
  • Non-routine reports
  • Supporting preparation of reports for MAS and rating agencies meetings
  • Managing team/ managing stakeholders
  • Manage team in India FC
  • Training and development for junior colleagues
  • Provides mentorship & maintains quality of the reports produced by FP&A Team and drive automation
  • Manage stakeholders primarily APAC Country Finance teams & APAC Product leads
  • Strategic projects
  • Design/ implement projects, process improvement projects, etc, under leadership of the Senior Finance executives
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studies proposed changes in methods and materials
  • Performs root cause analysis and act on key risks and issues impacting the process
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any finance or accounting-related course with 8-10 years of relevant work experience in a large regional or multi-national corporation
  • Professional qualification such as CA or CPA or CFA
  • Hands-on Regional experience supporting finance department activities including Month-end/Quarter close, Budgeting, Management reporting and external reporting
  • Strong analytical and process orientation with the ability to define and validate as-is processes as well as to design to-be processes
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills to understand management and internal client's needs
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives with competing interests for time and evolving priorities and can adapt easily to change
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with project teams, business, and senior executives as part of a joint team across regions
  • Track record of success in delivering Process Re-design and change management within an organization preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Power point and Word
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools (SAP BPC & Finance Warehouse)
