The APAC and Growth Markets region with presence in China, Japan, South-East Asia, Australia, India, Middle East, Africa, Russia, and Latin America. As per the region name, this is a region with significant growth potential in a very dynamic environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the LivaNova VP Finance, International, the FP&A Manager plays a critical role in shaping the financial future of our organization. The FP&A Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging his/her financial expertise to provide actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations that drive informed decision-making at the executive level. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to make a significant impact on a dynamic and growing company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage the company\'s financial plans.
  • Create and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor budget variances, identify trends, and provide recommendations for course correction as needed.
Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including but not limited to revenue and expense analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Provide insights on key financial metrics and performance indicators to guide strategic decision-making.
Forecasting and Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and communicate performance against financial targets.
Business Partnership:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to understand their financial needs and provide support in achieving their goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering data-driven insights and recommendations.
Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and innovative tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
Ad-hoc Analysis:
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and special projects as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial software and SAP ERP system preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
EDUCATION:
  • Minimum of bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • MBA, CMA and/or CPA or other professional Certification highly desirable
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ year experience working in finance, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Medical device or Life Sciences industry experience, preferable
