Job Description

  • At least 8+ years of experience in sales operations strategy in a strategy & planning role or consulting
  • At least 4+ years of experience in mid-to-large scale B2B hi-tech industry
  • Experience with systems and tools utilized for CRM, revenue reporting and forecasting
  • Expert level in Excel and data query tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

We are looking for a Enterprise Sales Strategy and Operations Manager to innovate and work with cross-functional stakeholders in solving business problems for the APJ Enterprise organization. You will be part of the regional AWS Asia Pacific & Japan Enterprise Strategy and Operations team that partners with the functional teams and enterprise sales leaders to report on performance, uncover insights, identify strategic priorities, and operationalize strategies.

This is a hands-on position; the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves” and yet think strategically. You must be able to create simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results in a concise and easy-to-understand manner.

Key job responsibilities
  • Developing innovative strategies around topics such as: Customer profiling and segmentation, Enterprise go-to-market, sales roles and resourcing, coverage design, leading and lagging performance metrics, etc.
  • Support run-the-business activities such as performance reporting, forecasting and sales operations escalations
  • Gathering and analyzing large datasets and field feedback to create data-driven insights and impactful proposals for improvement.
  • Delivering innovative, ‘think-big’ ideas and strategic frameworks to create a step change in the business. Leading end-to-end workstreams and virtual teams to operationalize strategies.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners. Effectively communicating with, and influencing, senior stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization.

• MBA or other relevant advanced degree • Strong foundational knowledge of B2B sales environment • Deep expertise and familiarity with cloud product and services, and sales cycles • Proficiency with annual forecasting and planning and related 3rd party tools • Familiarity with Asia-Pacific and Japan markets • Proven capability working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives
