What the role is
The Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) spearheads the development of the Singapore accountancy sector with the vision of developing Singapore into a leading global accountancy hub. What you will be working on
• Monitor and analyse business and manpower trends, and work with relevant stakeholders such as the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, Workforce Singapore, Ministry of Manpower, SkillsFuture Singapore to gather data and generate insights to strengthen Singapore's accountancy sector • Manage research projects with local and international stakeholders, including Professional bodies and Institutes for Higher Learning • Support the team to engage and understand the needs and challenges of accounting practices • Work with stakeholders to curate and implement relevant programmes and initiatives to support the industry transformation efforts of the accountancy sector, including disbursements and other administrative matters • Provide secretariat support to relevant committees and workgroups.
What we are looking for
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in strategy and planning / consulting / research • Excellent analytical, collaborative, writing and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously and work independently • Prior experience in public policy / regulatory work within the public sector / intergovernmental organisations / think tanks are added advantages
