Analysis and develop business rules of Group Insurance processes.
Analysis and develop the impact of any change for existing processes resulted from external or internal requirement.
Collaborate with the squad teams to deliver the user stories/platform enhancements.
Technical development of existing programs, analyzing, and identifying areas for modification when require, taking into consideration of building security, performance, monitoring and non-functional requirements within solution
Technical & Functional testing
Propose innovative solutions or alternative approaches
Identify and implementing service improvements and applying software upgrades
Proactive improvements to operational processes within the platform to meet customer expectations and drive efficiencies
Problem Solving
Accountable for solving problems and dealing with difficulties in line with policy, process and other guidelines applying technical knowledge and expertise
Depending on the nature of the specific role, problems can range from repetitive daily issues to complex technical problems requiring significant expertise
Escalate problems according to guidelines
Provide technical solutions for deficiencies in process, application configuration and operational procedures
Resource Complexity
Accountable for prioritizing own use of time to deliver the workload expected of the role while working within policy and guidelines and applying technical knowledge
Understand and proactively involved in programs related to Tech Upgrade, Platform Automation and Cloud Migration program.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years\' experience in software development still actively coding on daily basis.
Proficient in J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, microservices, REST APIs, XML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
Good knowledge in Angular / AngularJS is a plus.
Exposure to Cloud environment is a plus.
Solid understanding of the benefits of the various design patterns and object-oriented programming.
Have technical understanding of common security vulnerabilities and risks, as well as countermeasures and compensating controls
Prior working experience on agile or hybrid environment.
Has Finance or Insurance domain knowledge.
