Duties & Responsibilities
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Selection of seal, mechanical seal products in accordance with API 682 and or customers specifications
• Knowledge and proficiency in API 692, turbomachinery and dry gas seal and system
• Selection of power transmission couplings and other JC’s product portfolio
• Review of technical specifications
• Measuring and collecting data on site to allow for product design
• Design of seals for specific duties not covered by standard products
• Preparation of proposal drawings and detail drawings on CAD
• Review and approval of drawings to meet customers’ requirements
• Review and approval of manufacturing concessions
• Provide product presentations
• Maintaining and developing link with Global Applications Engineering
• Troubleshooting/failure analysis of seals, couplings and other products marketed by the company
• Generate quality, timely and competitive technical proposal to support sales inquiries
• Capability of preparing RCA report, as well as strong concept in reliability enhancement
• Conduct trainings and presentations to customers and internal teammates
• Engineer visit/activity report as well as flexibility of travelling to customer sites
• To perform other functions when requested. Ad hoc
