This role involves hands-on work in conducting experiments involving the use of industrial lasers, as well as setting up and operating machines for the purpose of providing customer t This role involves hands-on work in conducting experiments involving the use of industrial lasers, as well as setting up and operating machines for the purpose of providing customer training for the PCBA/electronics manufacturing industry. Good communication skills is also required to liaise between customers, vendors, sales and engineering teams. Some prior experience is advantageous, but fresh graduates are also welcomed as on-the-job training is provided. Interest/experience in laser cutting and/or laser marking is preferred, but not required. Perform process testing and feasibility studies using in-house equipment and machines in relation to customers' technical enquiries Work together with production team, design team and service team to setup machines according to in-house specifications and customer requests, including but not limited to, camera calibration, laser alignment, software testing, dimension measurement and fine tuning process parameters Liaise between sales team and engineering team on the feasibility and practicality of customer requests in relation to Getech machine capabilities Work together with internal design team and external vendors to come up with solutions to unique customer enquiries/applications Provide training and demonstrations and/or explanation to customers on process parameters and machine operations, both onsite in person and/or remote via MS Teams/Zoom/Anydesk/Quick Assist/Team Viewer Pilot Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Degree in Physics are also welcomed to apply Minimum 2 years of related working experience. Fresh graduates with excellent academic results may also apply Understanding in optics and laser are added advantage Good in written and spoken English
