Job Description

We are representing our client, a leading producer of photonics technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients and evaluate customer requirements and objectives for their application and suggest the best optical solution that meets or surpasses their expectations.
• Create initial optical system designs using various optical components available in our catalogue, covering applications such as life sciences diagnostic systems, spectroscopy systems, photolithography optics, remote sensing systems, and others.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to get cost estimates.
• Perform product presentations and demonstrations, either in person or via online platforms, to highlight the benefits of our precision optics solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure the smooth implementation of custom optics solutions, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.
• Contribute to the training and education of both the sales team and our customers on our precision optics offerings and relevant industry trends.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing good post-sales support, such as RMA or addressing any technical issues or concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Optics, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical), Physics, or a related field
• Possess knowledge and technical expertise in precision optics.
• Problem-solving and communication skills are critical.
• 3 years of working experience in precision optics or a related field is required.
• Experience in designing optical modules and systems.
• Proven track record in providing technical support or developing customized optical solutions for clients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and think creatively to develop innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Should be willing to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry tradeshows.
