SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS) As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes, solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners, and other attachment materials for the integrated circuit fabrication, semiconductor packaging, and electronic assembly industries. Job Responsibilities

• Work with chemical and materials engineering environment with a focus on semiconductor application
• Operate semi- production equipment including stencil printer, solder paste inspection (SPI)
• BGA ball mounter, reflow oven, deflux cleaner, die attach bonder for conduction of routine application testing
• Operate and collect data on flux and solder paste properties through metrology equipment
• Gather data through process and analytical equipment and be responsible to put into reports as requested
• Conduct sample making and be responsible for conducting DOE\xc2\xb4s for material and process improvements
• Participate in material testing and process development campaigns
• Provide technical support for soldering material and other AIA products
• Participate in customer application support
• Be able to take full ownership of a specific customer project and work on conception, implementation, and conclusion of electronic assembly projects
• Participate in joint development campaigns with equipment partners and participate in lab visits

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor\xc2\xb4s in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or an equivalent advanced Diploma
• Experience in the field of semiconductor packaging especially back-end process and soldering process is an asset
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Disposition for a hands- on approach and self- improvement
• Be willing to undergo further training on specialized analytical and processing equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively through written reports and oral presentations
• Well organized and with a high attention to detail
• Fluent in spoken and written English and a second Language
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Projects) and DOE software like Minitab

Bachelors Degree
Associate\'s Degree in Chemistry or Material Sciences
