Automation COE (Center of Excellence) team operates as a business partner proposing innovative ideas & solutions to deliver product & services that help the organization to be more productive and enable innovation. This position will further mature collaboration across AMS Towers and other Automation organizations to accelerate the delivery of reusable automation ideas while decreasing operational cost, removing manual/repetitive processes and enabling issue prevention. Primary Responsibilities
  • Establish a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the team which embraces DevSecOps, beneficial aspects of the Product / Service Model, and Agile ways of working.
  • Financial Management related to the Capital & Operational budget for automation products/services
  • Work with other leads to prioritize the global automation backlog and align on business capability needs that cuts across AMS teams to deliver on enterprise business outcomes and priorities.
  • Develops strong external and internal network to enable innovation, automation, stay current with industry trends, and establish effective vendor partnerships.
  • Develops and supports the practices of product management and agile delivery, building the mindset of accountability, customer centricity and empower teams to continously improve the impact and quality of the automation products and services we deliver.
  • Facilitate, govern & manage the automation products & services.
  • Oversee and drive the implementation of the automation products & services which will improve and streamline the processes and bring value to IT & Business customers.
  • Explore & research on the automation technologies, collaborate with Our company/Partner leads to do the proof of concept to bring new automation capability/product to the team.
  • Manages annual continuous improvement process.
  • Advance the IT Transformation related to the product model and new ways of working.
  • Facilitate the rationalization, synchronization, consolidation and/or elimination of applications and technologies in the account area to reduce complexity and increase business agility.
  • Drive the Product Teams towards implementing and delivering new automations.
Education Minimum Requirement:
  • Bachelor\xc2\xb4s Degree with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, System Engineering or appropriate skills based equivalent.
  • Advanced Degree preferred. Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Science (Computer Control & Automation) or like field.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience with emphasis on functional and technical leadership, as well as in delivering and managing IT services and products in a highly complex and dynamic business environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience to manage staff including geographically distributed external strategic partners.
  • Ability to achieve goals through others without having direct responsibility for them is critical.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to identify and leverage the right people, processes, and tools to achieve planned results on time and on budget and proactively manage risks and roadblocks.
  • Has demonstrated strong strategic and tactical skills, excellent presentation oral, written, and graphical communications skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
  • Ability to succeed in a dynamic, rapidly changing, highly matrixed business environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and enable/facilitate productive and business-like meetings as well as to work with individuals at all levels and demonstrate a level of professionalism that instils confidence and inspires trust.
  • Experience with automation technologies, DevSecOps, and Software defined infrastructure.
  • Understanding of RPA(UiPath), OCR, full stack (c#, Java, Python, react), SQL, various ML models, CI/CD tools and practices, API\xe2\x80\x99s, data and event streaming technologies
  • Understanding of cloud computing, Infrastructure as code, cloud-native principles and microservices design.
  • Has Innovation/Automation mindset and demonstrated experience in driving automation and aptitude of cutting edge technology.
  • Results-oriented with the proven ability and reputation for developing plans and implementing them successfully.
  • Strong analytical, attention to details, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of software development principles and lifecycle.
  • Experience with data analytics, data visualization and statistics.
  • Ability to comply with the standards in the highly regulated environment.
  • Experience working in Agile environment with understanding of agile supporting tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc).
