Job Description

Role: IT Application Manager

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain End User Computing (EUC) tools, primarily built using Microsoft Access and Excel.


Maintain and enhance systems using SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, SQL Server, and other database technologies on Windows Server.


Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall methodology.


Lead and manage a team of 3-4 engineers, ensuring quality delivery and performance.


Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, especially the Bank IT Department.


Ensure smooth operations and proactively suggest improvements in the maintenance and development processes.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in IT, with direct experience in a Banking IT Department. Proven experience managing end-to-end SDLC projects using the Waterfall approach. Strong experience in application development using any programming language, with a preference for Microsoft Access VBA, .NET, or C#. Solid understanding of Database and Server technologies, including SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, and SQL Server on Windows Server. Team management skills with the ability to manage tasks and people effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical end users. Proactive, team-friendly personality with a strong drive for continuous improvement. * Experience working with Microsoft Access components (forms, queries, modules, tables, reports, macros) is a plus.
