Position Purpose: In Savory application, will be responsible for developing valuable application solutions in this segment (Meat analogue, sauces\xe2\x80\xa6)

Positions reporting to: Head of CTS GA - Position scope: GBU Food / Greater Asia

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop application solutions to support customer needs, prove scientific evidence, and structure functional values within an agreed schedule
• Coordinate and lead the application studies in this segment (current products, range extension, innovative solutions) with a strong focus for protein application development in collaboration with marketing to enhance the value of our product portfolio.
• Being part of a global Customer Technical Support team, ensure the right level of support versus business opportunities, alignment with our strategic plan.
• Create and animate training for our customers / internal sales forces / distribution network in collaboration with technical developer.
• In collaboration with Sensory network will lead sensory analyses for Asia.
• Innovate on new concepts and protect the value by patenting our solutions (IP)
• Participate to customer visits, external trials, food exhibitions, conferences, training (20 % outdoors)
• Contribute to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace

REQUIREMENTS

Master degree or PhD with a 5+ years application, development experience with a significant expertise in this industry. A specific background on proteins is sought. Knowledge and experience with specialty ingredients. Proteins and modified starch are desired.

Experience in handling meat processing equipment eg. Retorts, batch cookers, blenders. Experienced working with protein extruder machines.

Have an analytical mind and passion to search for new solutions. Critical thinking is a must.

Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Good spoken and written English. Spoken Mandarin is desired.
