Our Client:
Our client is a subsidiary of an established financial Group. They are actively looking to hire an Application Support Analyst to join their expanding team.
The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production system integrity and production system readiness of systems under the Middleware team
  • Perform L2 support and troubleshooting for production incidents and critical system interface through Middleware system
  • Support the Incident Manager in ensuring preventive and detective measures of applications are identified and implemented with provision of root cause analysis
  • Support the IT Planner in meeting project objective and perform production transition for new system launch and system change request
  • Propose improvement for systems based on identified process gaps.
  • Standardize processes through developing implementation, integration, and documentation in accordance to set standards
  • Identify and propose suitable processes for automation and implementation.
  • Lead and coordinate projects (project support and change request)
  • Provide analytical support and execute requirement analysis to support system enhancement, fixes, and emergency application changes deployment
  • Highlight and escalates risk issues to relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Participate in system restoration for Disaster Recovery exercises
The Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree
  • Work experience in Application or System Support functions
  • Hands on experience in maintaining and supporting Middleware software
  • Hands on experience in scripting on both UNIX and Windows environment
  • Possess understanding and competency in scripting in shell or VB
  • Experience in project implementation on Middleware software and has set up channel establishment between multiple system integration
  • Experience in production incident support on Middleware software
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of ITIL methodologies for incident, problem and change management
  • Experience in maintaining and supporting Job Scheduling software
  • Experience in DevOps software tool kit such as OpenShift and Jenkins for CI/CD use case, would be a plus
