The incumbent is required to have in-depth technical discipline and subject matter expertise in the Core Banking area.

Summary: Application Support Analyst focuses on the following core banking areas: 1) Customer Information File (CIF) 2) Remittance 3) Deposit and Loans 4) Debit Card 5) Digital/mobile payment

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, maintaining and supporting applications and their operating environments
in accordance to the service level expectations (not limited to start of day checks, continuous application monitoring, same day reconciliations)
  • Responsible for providing technical and application support to users on Core Banking functions to achieve
quick resolutions to application issues and drive service stability
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining technical support documentation
  • Responsible for assessing risk and impact of production issues and timely escalation to business and
technology management
  • Responsible for partnering with relevant development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes
and support tooling requirements
  • Responsible for reviewing and developing application contingency planning to ensure availability to users
  • Responsible for identifying risks, vulnerabilities and security issues on current application delivery
and communicate impact to technology partners and business units
  • Participate in application releases from development, testing and deployment into production
  • Engage in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality
  • Act as SME on Core Banking to stakeholders and/or other team members

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Information Technology
  • 7 years of relevant experience in the application development for Core Banking domain
  • Possess strong technical knowledge in AS/400 domain
  • Possess good product functional knowledge in Silverlake Banking Product Suite (not limited to CIF,
Remittance, Deposit and Loans)
  • Prior experience in handling scheduling tools, secured file transfer protocols (SFTP) will be an added advantage
  • Strong problem solving skills for both technical and application areas
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills and able to act as a liaison between users, interfacing internal technology
groups and vendors
