13 August 2024This is a unique and challenging opportunity to lead a high-impact migration project in Asia as an Application Technical Project Manager. You will be instrumental in overseeing a technology platform upgrade, responsible for the planning, execution, and closure of data, application, or system migrations. Your role will ensure that these projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget;Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Over 5 years of experience in Project Management or Program Management within multinational companies;
• Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale migration or platform upgrade projects;
• Strong background in contract and vendor management;
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities;
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities;
• Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

Desirable Skill(s)

• PMP certification;
• Experience in change management;
• Experience working in financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project initiatives by collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to gather and understand business objectives;
• Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and team coordination from initiation through to completion;
• Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing coaching to ensure project success;
• Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring continuous engagement throughout the project lifecycle;
• Develop and execute change management strategies specific to migration projects;
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to align project goals and objectives;
• Propose solutions for internal teams regarding functional and technical scope, architecture, system integration, user experience, and training;
• Formulate and implement solutions for identified project gaps;
• Stay informed on regulatory and legislative changes that impact compliance, procedures, and processes;
• Review and suggest improvements to policies and controls, enhancing overall frameworks;
• Facilitate training and communication to support user adaptation to new systems or processes;
