JOB SUMMARY

Technical support on cosmetic application for the Asia region. Full-time permanent contract.

Part of a team based in Singapore, you will be reporting to one of the Cosmetic Lab Manager. Your position involves taking part of technical support for cosmetic customers in Asia. It includes travelling to visit customer and attend exhibitions around Asia. You will work in a local and global work environment communication with our different teams around the world.

Key responsibilities:

• Work on new product ideas, new applications projects, new formula development and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers and working closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop customized solutions.
• Generate new data on our ingredients and evaluate formulations trending in the market.
• Assist R&D in development of NPD and put New Products in application solutions to support NPD launch plan.
• Technical administration by preparing samples of requested application formulations.
• Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment, adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards.
• Travel with sales team to attend exhibitions, seminars and workshops (10% of the year)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation (ex: skincare, suncare, make-up, haircare etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Strong knowledge in cosmetic ingredients, formulation equipment, stability testing and formula optimization
• Fluent in English
• Basic level of MS Office
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with limited supervision
• Organization and precision
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and writing
