DESIGNATION : Application/Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive automation solutions and design system architecture or industrial networking fitting the needs of the customer & deliver customized solutions through maximizing the use of Phoenix Contact products, to achieve profitability and growth in market share.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support, understand customer's technical needs and project specifications.
• Develop application based on customer specific solution concepts, ensuring that the solution packages follow the relevant industry standards, and provide corresponding proof of concept studies.
• Design system architecture or industrial networking to comply customer’s requirement
• Attend customer meetings, and present technical solution to potential customers.
• Comprehensively support end customers in the planning, installation and start-up phase
• of their projects. .
• Ensure that our products and their unique features are specified in projects and at end users as well as consultants to technically safeguard our position against competition.
• Conduct regular application workshops and trainings to sales, marketing, partners and customers, promoting latest technology and application trends as well as their deployment in Phoenix Contact products and services.
• Participate in industry specific associations and exchange industry/application specific trends and developments within the division CIS.
• Support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events, including designing and/or revamping of products static and active displays.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, instrumentation & control systems.
• Proficient knowledge of high-level industrial programming and network design/configuration.
• Good PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills will be an advantage.
• Strong ability to build optimized architectures fitting the needs of the customer.
• Proficient with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English, both oral and written. Good presentation skill be an added advantage.
• Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
• Willing to travel within short notice e.g. Training, Trade shows, etc.
