Our client is one of the leading Building & Civil contractors not just in Singapore but in Asia too.  They have a number of current large scale groundbreaking projects with tenders in place for some of Singapore’s most prestigious upcoming projects.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Main Accountabilities
 
·       To be a planner, but also a ‘thinking’ engineer who can build up a good realistic programme from the bottom up.
·       The Planning Engineer is responsible for the execution of progress control and monitoring of the projects being assigned.
·       Render assistance to the Tendering Department for any planning and scheduler related functions.
·       Set up Baseline schedules for new projects or schedules for Tenders
·       Perform project control and progress monitoring for the project(s) designated.
·       Liaison with project team and client’s project representative to establish the Schedule based on key dates as specified in the contract. The schedule shall include detailed schedule, work plan, critical activities, milestone dates, resource loading, generate progress S-Curve, rolling programme etc.
·       Monitor the project schedule and highlight any critical activity needs particular attention. Discuss with project team to identify mitigating measures.

PRE-REQUISITES:
 
·       MUST have a relevant engineering degree.
·       MUST be Primavera P3 literate with Construction experience
·       Minimum 5 years experience for the more senior positions, and minimum 2 years for the Assistant Planner role.
·       LTA experience on heavy civils work would be an advantage, however a good building planner would also be considered.
·       Good communication & interpersonal skills
·       Excellent project skills
·       Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
·       Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
