Their Corporate Office is located in Houston, Texas and London, UK.
Job Summary:
The role is mainly responsible for generating sales for Gulf Energy Information. This will also be responsible for qualifying appointments and closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
Their company is dynamic and growing and to better serve their customers they are seeking a new salesperson to join the Data sales team. The ideal candidate will be accountable and responsible for developing relationships that promote retention and loyalty for data customers, including initial contact, onboarding, and successful adoption to our platform.
An effective Appointment setter/telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting their products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.
Responsibilities:
Managing all phases of the new customer process and retention for Gulf Energy Information customers, including initial contact, appointment setting, onboarding, and successful adoption of Gulf Energy Information Data
Sell data service to qualified prospects in the APAC/EMEA/Americas
Creating qualified new business leads and setting appointments for the Data sales team , and schedule appointments in Teams Meeting and direct prospects to the global sales team as required
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both the Gulf Energy Information suite of Data solutions and our customers specific needs in support of their ongoing usage
Measure usage and lead commercial renewal negotiations through proactive planning and communication
Work closely with Product and Research teams to identify and prioritize strategic product enhancements
Complete related tasks as assigned
Requirements
Proven at least 2 to 3 years' experience in customer-facing , problem-solving positions in subscriptions-based companies
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone , through pro-actively using company generated leads and your own initiative
Experience and comfort working with multiple stakeholders across large energy organizations
Curiosity to learn about new businesses and industries, and the ability to quickly grasp and make effective use of industry and company-specific terminology
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information, using our CRM system and providing weekly sales reports and feedback
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 mbps bandwidth
Must have backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
