Job Description

Responsibilites:

• Production of drawings relating to a project from concept to construction stage.
• Assists with the coordination of the project design and project team.
• Production of Design Reports.
• Confers with clients, consultants, local authorities and contractors during various stages of project development.
• Assist in authority submission for local projects.
• Assist in contract administration.
• Assist in the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction and/or alteration of buildings.
• Assists in taking the \xe2\x80\x9cbrief\xe2\x80\x9d to identify clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and putting together feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Assists in developing ideas, keeping in mind client\xe2\x80\x99s needs, building\xe2\x80\x99s usage and environmental impact.
• Assists in controlling project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
• Assists in producing detailed blueprints and making any necessary corrections.
• Assists in compiling project specifications.
• Assists in keeping within budgets and timelines.
• Assists in ensuring that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
• Assists in site visits to check on project status and report on project.
• Cooperates and liaises with construction professionals.
• Travel as and when necessary.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

• Competent knowledge and application of following software:-
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Photoshop / InDesign, Technical Detailing / Specification
• Relevant degree in Architecture, with at least 3 years experience.
• QP (Qualified Person) professional qualification & BOA is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and result orientated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak Mandarin is an advantage due to high exposure of China projects
• Willing to travel.
