We are looking for an area product owner who has experience with supporting/implementing a multi-channel collaboration platform (WhatsApp, Wechat, Push notifications and Email/ SMS alerts) for financial services clients preferably in a private banking set-up.

The incumbent is responsible for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the squad(s) while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features/ components.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of business value through overall digital initiatives, with a focus on multi-channel collaberation platforms for client communication (WhatsApp, Wechat, Push notifications and Email/ SMS alerts)
• Work closely with end users to identify customer needs, design user journeys with Client Experience team and validate with end-users.
• Maintain Prioritised Product backlog with well defined user stories, acceptance criteria's and validated client journeys (designs).
• Partner with Technology Project Manager and external vendors to jointly deliver prioritised client journeys within scope, timeline and budget by prioritizing and managing assigned project resources and work processes during sprint planning
• Oversee the non-technologyaspects of the project handled by the team. These include gathering business requirements, business case finalization, and sign off on user acceptance testing, user change management/go-live activities (e.g. communications, preparation of training material and conduct user trainings).
• Manages and communicates with key stakeholders on project status, key risks and issues.
• Participate in UAT testing and user experience validation
• Collaboration with vendors, CX team, IT BA and software engineer to make sure requirements are well understood
• Build strong relationships and good communications with key business partners
• Contributes to the definition of subsequent phases of Client collaberation platform which include implement new capabilities to enhance the current digital abilities.

• Minimum 6-8 years of solid experience as a Business Analyst/ Product Owner, in delivering in complex, cross-functional technology-related projects in banking, preferably in a Private Bank
• Experience in working with end users, to gather requirements and translating them into User Stories, for technology team to implement.
• A driven self-starter who is delivery focused and possesses strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
• Robust stakeholder management skills and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate conceptual thinking skills
• Can work confidently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders of varying seniority
• Experience in working with agile methodology, use of Jira.
• Knows/ willing to learn gherkin user stories.
• Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
• Can work independently, is pragmatic and enjoy high energy levels
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to various demands in a diverse culture
• Familiar with relevant rules and regulations, those relating to local private banking business
• Has ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
