With a team of 2D abnd 3D Artists reporting to you, you will spearhead the Art Department and drive the Art direction.Responsibilities: Provide artistic leadership and lead team to drive the overall vision of the project. Liaise and communicate artistic direction and vision with developers and 3rd party art vendors to ensure utmost quality is met. Nourish the artistic vision by looking for sources of inspiration out of the video game industry. Take the lead in ensuring the unity of all visual parts: models, characters, environment, atmosphere, UI, etc. Follow the work of the team and ensure they reach the expected artistic quality and consistency. Contribute to the art pipeline definition and develop milestones for art team (internal/external).Requirement: At least 7-10 years of game art production experience or any other relevant experience, including successful experience in a lead or director role. A thorough understanding of art outsourcing pipelines, capacities and technical constraints related to current game engines. Able to express requirements in documentation and apply it in art production. Proven proficiency in current 2D and 3D applications including Photoshop and 3D Max and/or similar tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong leadership, team, and people management skills. Good knowledge of the video game market; passion for game art.
