Own and maintain the cloud infrastructure design, to ensure the right design is used to host various software products that we have. Design need to cater for non-functional requirements, such as high availability, disaster recovery, scaling.
Review and guide the junior team members in provisioning and configuration of systems in cloud environment
Work closely with DevOps Engineer in managing automated software release processes with CI/CD pipeline
Provide operations support to Product development team as when needed
Ensure consistent, timely and effective response and resolution for all technical incidents/tickets, including issues that span across infrastructure services and application infra
Advise and design the Infra Services monitoring tools/ dashboard to effectively detect/predict/prevent issues related to performance.
Develop and update documentation to reflect any changes on existing process, configuration or setup
Design and develop automation tools to ensure scalability and high availability of our services
Operationalise and promote use of automation tools, analytics, and self-service systems
Provide regular analysis of system and service performance and make recommendations for improvement or best practices
Mentor the junior team member on infrastructure design
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical / IT field, or similar industry experience
At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the IT infrastructure field is required for this position, with at least 2 years spent on designing cloud infrastructure
Must have hands-on experience with running production workload in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, WAF, ALB, FSx, Cloudwatch, Athena, etc) and other infra services such as Active Directory, firewall, CDN, email/SMS gateway, SFTP, etc. Similar experience with Azure or GCP can be considered.
Experienced in system administration and networking administration in Linux and Windows Server environment
Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline such as Azure DevOps
Must have knowledge on scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python and/or Terraform. Familiar with the concept of Infra as Code and Document as Code.
Experience with Docker containers and orchestration tool like Kubernetes and AWS EKS will be an advantage
Familiar with the concept of Application Performance Monitoring such as using New Relic and AWS Cloudwatch, to collect system telemetry data, and presenting in meaningful way.
Familiarity with SAST, SCA, DAST and other vulnerability scanning tools will be an advantage.
Good to have knowledge on DevOps, Agile practice, ITIL, .Net application development, infrastructure security and compliance
Good communication skills, analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills
Able to work with the team or independently with minimum supervision
Self-motivated and eager to learn
