Job Summary:

  • Marketing Communication functional head for all product franchises in 11 Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN cluster)
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration at the country, regional, and global levels within a complex matrix organizational structure, aiming to achieve the business objectives. This involves creating influential and effective marketing communication tools and assets.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

External Marketing
  • Responsible for creating and implementing Marketing and Communication roadmaps, which involve charting, strategizing, and executing in-country, cluster-wide, and regional marketing & communication initiatives and priorities.
  • Take charge of events management and marketing efforts, serving as the organizer, communicator, executor, and supporter for customer events, webinars, symposiums, workshops, tradeshows, and congresses, in in-person, virtual, or hybrid format. Additionally, handle leads generation, provide progress updates, and prepare retrospective reporting for these events.
  • Responsible for omnichannel/digital marketing, including content generation, planning, platform administration, reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement across various official social media platforms and marketing channels.
  • Actively participate in and provide support for various new product launches through a range of online and offline activities as part of the Go-to-Market strategy.
  • As the brand custodian and ambassador, responsible for reviewing and approving marketing and communication assets to ensure strict adherence to the corporate branding charter.
Internal Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires during their MarCom onboarding orientation.
  • Organize, manage, and execute employee events and engagement activities, such as annual kick-off meetings, annual partners forums, etc., in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and disseminate key internal business topics to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cluster office management on space branding to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate guidelines across Southeast Asia.
Other tasks as required
  • Assume a transversal management role, overseeing local country subsidiaries\' MarCom point of contacts to ensure a coherent communication strategy across the entire region.
  • Guide, adapt, and implement specific initiatives to streamline branding communication guidelines and protocols.
  • Take ownership of the budget, managing and handling relevant administrative paperwork related to marketing and communications activities.
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to relevant policies for specific marketing and communications activities, including procurement of giveaways, records keeping, and tracking.
  • Lead in-house creatives content development, including visuals, graphics, and videos. Additionally, liaise with external outsourced creative, events, and production agencies management.
  • Participate in public health education and outreach initiatives, contributing to the organization\'s efforts in raising awareness and promoting public health initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or Communication, with a solid experience of at least 3 years in big events organization, working in direct or with agencies. Experience working in the IVD industry would be strongly preferred.
  • Experience in strategic planning, strategic marketing and business development
  • Strong communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Good presentation and good interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solver, result-driven and highly motivated individual with positive disposition and energy, resilience in the face of negative sentiment
  • Good written communication skills in English
  • A team player with strong project management skill, with attention to details
