Job Description


On behalf of one of its clients in the aerospace industry, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Asia Maintenance & Repair Planning Leader

Within the MRO Planning team in Supply Chain, you are in charge of managing the planning, from engines maintenance to parts repairs with our major MRO partners in Asia. For the benefit of our client, you interact with partner maintenance shops in Asia to build the best schedule of engines shop visits while taking into account their own constraints, in particular capacity. You also interact with partner repair shops, to share with them our clients best view of the repair workload that will be sent to them. In collaboration with the MRO procurement leaders in Asia, you consolidate a load/capacity vision for these subcontractors and are involved in improving their performance.

Roles and Responsibilities include: As part of this function, over a rolling horizon of 3 months your main missions consist of:

1. For maintenance activities \xe2\x80\x93 engines shop visits \xe2\x80\x93 optimizing the planning and help developing our offload partners in Asia by :

-a. Managing the shop visits schedule for the region on a weekly basis

-b. Updating of shop visit data in ERP (SAP)

-c. Optimizing the load/capacity suitability of subcontractors

-d. Deploying and leading the capacity/slot review meetings for Asia

-e. Coordinating of module outsourcing between shops in case of multi-site maintenance

-f. Identifying of suitable engines with Customer Teams and with corporate Planning Team in France (depending on the customer, engine type, details of work\xe2\x80\xa6)

-g. Taking into account supply risk and technical risks for planning with a best case and worst-case scenario

-h. When requested, participating in the opening of new subcontracting solutions through the identification of industrial needs (e.g. tooling) and quality (e.g. certification) of customers

2. For repair, managing Asian repair sources forecast & planning, by:

-a. Updating the repair load forecast

-b. Carrying out actions to improve the reliability of the forecast

-c. Defining, implementing and maintaining of WIP monitoring tools

-d. Identifying critical parts & Analyzing the load and the capacity with the actors of the supplier relationship of the repairers for such critical parts

-e. Proposing actions to smooth the load or temporarily to modify the repair flow.

-f. Animating a review of load and capacity balancing.

Finally, you will be in a position to share & present the Master Production Schedule of the MRO Asia external network to obtain its validation in a weekly review. You are the guarantor of its reliability and its consistency with the Global MRO Sales and Operations Plan. You are in close contact with the Purchase, SPM (supplier performance manager) and MPL (MRO procurement leader) teams of the associated partner. You are also in regular contact with the planning team, with Shop visits managers, with Supply Chain managers and with Customers Teams.

Requirements

Regular travel to partners shops in Singapore

Occasional travel to partner MRO shops in China & India and in France

Autonomous & Transversal management

Rigor and responsiveness

Aptitude for teamwork and cross-functional

Ability for analysis and synthesis Education and Experience:

Knowledge of engine maintenance

Good knowledge of supply chain processes (MPR II, Demand Management and Planning Management)

Customer/Supplier relationship knowledge appreciated

Knowledge of information systems used in supply chain (SAP)

Experience using office tools (Excel, Power Query, and Power BI)
