Description :US GAAP and IFRS Knowledge

• Tax dashboard and Deferred Taxation
• Accounting and Tax Changes - Localized Implementing Rules and Guidelines
• Prepare financial statements and disclosures
• Local vs US GAAP books Recon
• Accounting issues - clarifications and queries, research on accounting treatment

Local Taxation

• Oversee China, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore tax computations and tax entries.
• Consolidation of Optics and Lighting & Detection
• Tax risk assessments and studies
• Local taxation documentation review (GST/VAT) - compliance
• Withholding tax - documentation

Branches/ Rep Office Tax filing

• VAT and Witholding tax - sanity check before submission
• Local Income tax - sanity check before submission
• Transfer Pricing compliance on branches

Corp Secretarial/ Legal/ Authorization

• Bank Signatory Maintenance
• Corp Sec Matters (Dividends, Shares certificates, Directors resolutions)
• Annual returns completeness (ACRA/SEC/AIC)
• CorpPass Administrator

• Citi Direct Security Manager
• US-FATCA and E-WBN sanity check on government surveys/ statistics - submission

Report Writing

• Localized policies and memo writing
• Transfer Pricing Compliance

Educational Level:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent

Work Experience:

• Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years supervisory experience in a large auditing firm
• At least 10 years managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in managing tax audits and disputes.

Skills:

• Knowledgeable in SAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of Asia-Pacific tax laws and regulations
