The role of the Asset Decarbonization and Energy Lead sits within one of the 4 verticals within the Sustainability Consulting team for South East Asia and is a responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce the carbon footprint of an organization\'s assets while optimizing energy use.

Job scope

1. Analyzing current energy usage patterns: The Asset Decarbonization and Energy Lead would need to perform detailed analysis of current energy usage patterns across an organization\'s assets, including buildings, vehicles, and other equipment. This involves collecting data and using analytical tools to identify areas for improvement.

2. Developing decarbonization strategies: Based on the findings from the energy usage analysis, the Asset Decarbonization and Energy Lead would need to develop a decarbonization strategy for the organization. This includes identifying technologies, digital solutions, policies, and procedures that can be implemented to reduce the organization\'s carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency.

3. Project management: Once a decarbonization strategy has been developed, the Asset Decarbonization and Energy Lead would need to oversee the implementation of projects designed to achieve the desired results. This includes coordinating with other stakeholders within the organization, as well as external partners such as contractors and vendors.

4. Monitoring and reporting: The Asset Decarbonization and Energy Lead would need to monitor the progress of decarbonization projects and report on the results achieved. This includes analyzing data on energy usage, carbon emissions, and other key performance indicators, and communicating this information to senior management and other stakeholders.

5. Staying up-to-date on industry trends: The Asset Decarbonization and Energy Lead would need to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in decarbonization and energy management. This includes attending industry conferences, networking with peers, and conducting research to identify new technologies and approaches that can be leveraged to achieve the organization\'s goals.
