Job Description

• Based on customer requirement to recommend suitable machine model and option.
• Perform time studies for customer workpieces, making machining process and fixture concept proposal. tooling list etc.
• Create machining program and test cut customer workpiece, fulfil as per the requirements.
• Conduct programming and operation training for customers.
• On-site support new machine commissioning, workpiece test cut, runoff etc.
• Provide technical support over the phone or on-site for customers.
• Setup machines for showroom demonstration or open house/ events.

Requirements:

• Minimum Polytechnic graduated with 2 years working experience in relevant CNC machining preferably in Turning and Machining Centers.
• Proficient in using Solidworks and experienced on Hypermill or MasterCAM or NX.
• Must have sound engineering background & application knowledge in metal cutting principles and techniques in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Coupled with this experience, the candidate will require excellent communication & presentation skills, both written and oral and have a high degree of self-motivation.
• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving and project handling skills.
