Job Responsibilities

Support the daily production of cakes and other baked items. Prepare pastry fillings and batters, and bake products according to recipes. Assist with decorating & finishing baked items up to quality standards. Handle and store ingredients safely. Assist in handling customer queries & other adhoc duties.

Requirements

Have a Certificate in Pastry / Bakery or at least 2 years related experience. Have a keen interest in creative edible art, including buttercream piping, sugar flowers & fondant artwork. Have good work ethics, attention to detail, initiative and willingness to learn. Able to work independently and in a team. Able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week (3 days per week, including Saturday / Sunday). Flexible working hours with off day on Monday. Hourly pay rates: $10 - $12 on weekdays & weekends and $11.50 - $13.50 on public holidays, depending on education background and relevant working experience.
