DESIGNATION : Assistant Buyer (Fresh)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent is responsible in assisting the Category Manager and he/ she is expected to:

• Manage portfolio under your care - sales, gross profit and market share
• Weekly reporting on sales, budget, and key performance takeaways
• Sourcing/buying (local & international), and attainment of sales, profit budget
• Monthly presentations to stores on category plan and promotions to ensure effective execution
• Solve problems and address issues that arise in day-to-day operations (such as customer/store feedback, delay in delivery, insufficient stocks and quality issues etc.)
• Work with various departments for any other projects under your care (e.g. festive promotions & campaigns)
• Market survey to identify potential gap in pricing & products
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

• Diploma in any Business Studies
• Experience in FMCG industry is a plus
• Able to do basic data analytic
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Highly customer-oriented
• Motivated, meticulous and results oriented
• Resourceful and problem solver
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and ability to collaborative and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders etc
