Our Company is looking to fill the role of assistant chef.We look forward to welcome you!RESPONSIBILITY OF AN ASSISTANT CHEF: . Check Inventories to see proper storage & rotation stock.. To maintain high level of hygiene at all times especially during food preparation.. To ensure efficient & high standard of service to customers.. To ensure general cleanliness of kitchen and related equipments.. Ensure that appropriate temperature log sheets filled out accordingly.. To create and share ideas of a new menu.. To assist Chef in food preparation.. Participates and create new salads.. Be aware of accident prevention and follow safe work habits.FOOD PURCHASING AND CONTROL : . Ensure that details of all orders are recorded accordingly to set prosedure.. Ensure that stock level are kept at agreed levels so that the groceries are fresh and frozen product are used quickly and rotated in a systematic way.. Check delivery invoice and ensuring that faulty item are returned.. Ensure that an effective stock rotation procedure is adhered to at all times ans assist in the monthly stocktake with head chef and the operation manager.QUALIFICATION OF ASSISTANT CHEF : . At least 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking for buffet restaurant.. Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.. Responsible.
