Background: IPPAI has been established for 2 years already, currently located at Dorsett Residences. We specialise in Japanese cuisine with Modern Jap concept. He has previously worked in a Michelin-Star Restaurant - Tatsuya Goodwood. We believe he will be able to impart his knowledge and experience to the next generation of Chefs. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about F&B and is excited about creating great experiences for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking.

• Assist chef/ supervisor in kitchen operations as required

• Ensure high food quality especially taste, temperature and presentation to deliver excellent dining experience to all customers

• Ensure that all foods are served as fast as possible

• Ensure kitchen stock keep fresh and follow FEFO (first expired first out) standard

• Manage all kitchen stock for daily operation, and outlet food cost control. Assist on month-end stock take

• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, and always keep the kitchen in excellent hygiene standards

• Ensure kitchen housekeeping is carry on as scheduled

• Understand and support hall operation

• Ad-hoc duties as assigned
  

Requirements:

• Prior work experience in Japanese F&B would be advantage

• Able to work in a fast pace environment

• Possess positive attitude and responsibilities

• Love challenges and able to work under pressure

• Customer-service oriented personality

• Able to start work immediately
