Responsibilities for civil engineer :


Prepare project scope documentation for external engineering service providers Review and evaluate engineering service provider qualifications, proposals and prepare a recommendation for management Collaborate with site engineer to ensure projects stay within budget, on schedule and with-in scope of work Provide technical expertise and assistance to field personnel and operations Oversee all technical aspects of the assigned projects under construction Conduct field investigations, prepare reports and make engineering recommendations to operations on emergency projects Participate on technical teams and/or provide functional direction to engineering and design personnel for incorporating civil / structural schemes May participate in department planning, provide budget recommendations, and monitor performance for the accomplishment of committed results Daily contact with inter and intra-department managers and supervisors for Generation's Engineering projects and represent Generation MP&E to other Business Units for projects under the purview Regular contact with management to provide information and recommendations concerning civil / structural engineering issues
You will also be expected to organise surveys, site investigations to communicate/liaise with a range of customers, third parties and authorities


Provide analysis of customer requirements and request for proposal


Participate to site surveys and analyze site constructability issues


Contribute to high level engineering solution by optimizing the civil portion
